    Should the Cardinals have not let him pitch the first inning to save him for the NLCS?
    Would that have cancelled bets because he did not actually pitch?

    I don't think it would have cancelled the bets, but can you imagine how pissed you'd be if you bet on the Cards and they did?

      I rushed home from work to watch my Braves only to see them make MLB history giving up a 10 spot in the 1st .



      In answering your question, yes that would have cancelled all bets if you bet listed pitchers had he not started the game.
